Laco has a long history in manufacturing professional pilot watches, as the traditional company was one of a handful of selected suppliers of so-called observation watches (“Beobachtungsuhr”) in the 1940s. To this day, these robust and precise timepieces are coveted by collectors and serve as historic references for the current Laco pilot watches.

The "Neapel 39" type A dial replicates the traditional pilot watch design, but with bright orange numerals, indices and hands on a black background, it is distinctly modern and quite eye catching. With the sophisticated color combination, the Neapel 39 not only cuts a good figure in the cockpit, but it also stands out in everyday life and in a business environment. The contemporary 39 mm stainless steel case with slim bezel frames the large dial, which - as befits a pilots watch - shows the time at a glance in all lighting conditions. The movement used to power the watch is a Laco 21 jewel automatic with hand winding and hacking. The strap is made with vintage black leather with contrasting orange stitching. Lug width is 18mm. The watch is water resistant to 50 meters an it weighs just 80 grams including the strap.
